Fast Puncture Repairs While You Wait

Tyre problems never seem to happen at a convenient time.

That’s why we aim to diagnose and repair punctures as quickly as possible. In many cases, repairs can be completed while you wait, helping minimise disruption to your day.

Our workshop is equipped to inspect tyres thoroughly and determine whether a repair is safe and suitable under current industry guidelines.

If a repair is not possible, we can advise on replacement options from our range of budget, mid-range and premium tyres.

Common Causes of Punctures

Many punctures are caused by everyday road hazards, including:

  • Nails
  • Screws
  • Sharp metal fragments
  • Road debris
  • Broken glass
  • Construction materials

In many cases, damage within the central tread area can be safely repaired, avoiding the cost of replacing the tyre unnecessarily.

Slow Puncture Repairs

One of the most common tyre issues we see is a slow puncture.

You may notice:

  • Frequent tyre pressure warnings
  • Having to inflate the tyre regularly
  • One tyre losing pressure faster than the others
  • TPMS warning lights appearing repeatedly

Slow punctures can be caused by several issues, including small tread punctures, leaking valves or poor sealing between the tyre and wheel.

Our technicians will identify the exact cause before recommending the most appropriate repair.

Nail or Screw in Your Tyre?

Finding a nail or screw in your tyre can be worrying, but it does not always mean the tyre needs replacing.

Many punctures caused by nails or screws can be repaired safely if the damage is located in a repairable area of the tread and the tyre’s internal structure has not been compromised.

We will inspect the tyre both externally and internally before advising whether repair or replacement is the safest option.

Valve Leak Repairs

Sometimes the tyre itself is not the problem.

Valve leaks can cause gradual air loss and are often mistaken for punctures.

We regularly diagnose and repair:

  • Standard valve leaks
  • Damaged valve cores
  • Age-related valve deterioration
  • TPMS valve leaks

Replacing a faulty valve is often a simple and cost-effective solution.

TPMS Valve Repairs

Modern vehicles use Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) to alert drivers when tyre pressures fall below recommended levels.

If your TPMS warning light remains on despite inflating your tyres correctly, the issue may be caused by:

  • A leaking TPMS valve
  • Damaged valve components
  • Corrosion around the sensor assembly

Our team can inspect and replace TPMS valve components where required.

Bead Leak Repairs

A bead leak occurs when air escapes between the tyre and the wheel rim.

This issue is particularly common on older wheels where corrosion or contamination prevents a proper seal.

Symptoms often include:

  • Repeated loss of tyre pressure
  • No visible puncture
  • Tyres that slowly deflate over several days

Our technicians can remove the tyre, clean the sealing surfaces and restore an effective seal where appropriate.

When a Tyre Cannot Be Repaired

Safety always comes first.

Unfortunately, not every tyre can be repaired.

Replacement may be necessary if:

  • Damage is located in the sidewall
  • The puncture is too large
  • The tyre has been driven while severely underinflated
  • Internal structural damage is present
  • The tyre no longer meets legal tread requirements

If replacement is required, we stock a wide range of tyres to suit different vehicles and budgets.

We were on holiday down in Weymouth, and had a tire blowout after several failed attempts today Mobile tyre fitter to come out eventually found Weymouth tyres. Guy came out took the faulty tyre off took it back to his workshop brought a new tyre back to my vehicle and then was able to follow him to have the other replaced, which was nearly perished. Was so happy with the service I had the other two tyres replaced so all four replaced, very cost-effective and can’t fault the guy for his professionalism and his advice, would highly recommend.
